About

Hi, I'm Kayleigh.

An experienced mental health professional and Registered Service Manager — bringing operational leadership and trauma informed psychotherapy into the same room.

Kayleigh Morrison, BACP Registered Psychotherapist

I'm a BACP Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience across mental health, social care, children's services and therapeutic support. I work primarily with ADHD adults — including professionals and leaders — and with families navigating neurodivergence and school difficulty. Sessions are available online worldwide, face-to-face in Clitheroe, Lancashire, and I can travel by arrangement.

“Although ADHD is mentioned a lot now, we still have a very poor understanding of what someone with ADHD actually suffers. There is real stigma — the idea that 'everyone has it' or that it is an excuse. My personal experience is that ADHD affects every aspect of my life.”

Alongside private practice I'm a Registered Service Manager for Ofsted regulated supported accommodation, handling complex operations, compliance and leadership in high-stakes environments. That dual role is intentional.

“I understand the exact pressure of managing high-stakes environments while navigating an ADHD brain.”

The strategies I share aren't theoretical — they're what works when the inbox is full, the meeting's in ten minutes and your brain has other plans.

My approach is relationship based, trauma informed and grounded in DDP and the PACE principles — Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy. With families, we focus on attachment-focused, neurodiversity-informed parenting rather than behaviour modification.
